And BIGGER still...

WEEK 32

It was a lovely holiday! We relaxed, slept in and ate well... and Poppy got lots of loving attention. This picture of Chad and I pretty much says it all at this point! But I feel great (other than being tired and not sleeping well!)! The midwife told us that he is head down... which means he'll probably stay that way until he is ready to come out! It also means this busy guy is kicking my ribs - he's still a mover and shaker even tho he's getting ready to join us out here.

WEEK 31

Oh my goodness that's a BIG belly!!! Can you believe this little man has 9 more weeks to GROW!

I had the most lovely time at Poppy's shower this past weekend-  We are thrilled with all of our gifts- like all the amazing children's books! (We've been reading them and love imagining reading them to our son!)

The holiday break starts friday and couldn't be here soon enough- I'm tired but I can't wait to get even more ready for our new family member - I'll be spending the vacation washing all the beautiful clothes, blankets and diapers we received as gifts and finishing the stuffed octopus I've been making- sounds lovely and relaxing  :)

WEEK 28

Happy Thanksgiving Dear Ones!

The big news 1st!- CHAD IS A MEAT EATER AGAIN! (as you can see he's very happy about it :)

Our sweetest friend Jena painted our 'suns' room this week! Isn't it lovely?  And my Dad installed that fabulous light!  We are so happy with it and are so happy in general! We love you all!! And can't wait to see our Thomas Family SOON!!! 

Change

WEEK 26

There's lots of change happening! The country has elected it's 1st African American President! It has gotten cold again in Chicago! And look at that BELLY! (notice the belly button)  Our son is growing fast. We know he is a strong and busy young man... And the midwife thinks so as well- She got kicked while listening to his heartbeat... :)  All is well and lovely here at the Adams  home.  We are looking forward to the Holidays and being with you all!

WEEK 24

Poppy has grown a lot this last week it seems... He  keeps kicking/punching both sides of his mama's belly at the same time!  We had a good time at the  birthing class- It will be empowering for us both I think.  The second class is  tomorrow night!  

We all here are waiting anxiously for Election Day!  We hope that our son will be born into a country  where our leaders believe that all people deserve to have equal opportunity and true hope for the future of their families.

WEEK 23
There is a tiny person growing bigger everyday in my belly!
Check it out at Babycenter - Here you can get updates sent to you every week to read about Poppy's progess. 3 weeks ago at the ultrasound he was 10 inches long and weighed a pound!- my belly has been s t r e c h i n g so we imagine that he's much bigger than that now!

This little man moves A LOT! Its so much fun to feel him rolling, punching, kicking, dancing- and now we can see him moving from the outside! WEIRD!

More pictures next week- but I think he's bigger now than when the below pics were taken! The new week starts on Tuesdays- so on the 28th we'll be 24 weeks along!

Last bit of news- We are starting BIRTHING CLASSES on Monday. We're excited- but time feels like its flying by! I'll miss being pregnant- but we'll have a sweet little boy here to make me forget about that... :)
